The University of Nairobi Institute of Head and Neck Surgical Sciences (UNIHANSS) and The Pan African Association of Neurological Sciences (PAANS) in collaboration with The World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) and The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) invites you to the 20th PAANS Congress/40th anniversary to be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 3rd to 7th December 2012, at The University of Nairobi, Kenyatta National Hospital Campus, and Safari Park Hotel. The theme of the conference is NEUROEPIDEMIOLOGY, CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASE, and DEMENTIA. The PAANS/WFNS/WFN Congress will be on 3rd and 4th December at the University of Nairobi School of Medicine and the PAANS/WFN Dementia Symposium will be at Safari Park Hotel on 5th , 6th and 7th December.

There will be workshops on Diagnostic Methods for Cognitive Impairment and Dementia (Safari Park Hotel) and Spine Instrumentation (Chiromo Campus). Details are available from the Congress Secretariat.

We do believe that within the theme of the conference, you will learn a lot and have an opportunity to interact with fellow physicians from all over Africa and outside Africa.

Letter of Invitation

Upon request, the Organizing Committee will issue a letter of invitation. The sole purpose of the letter is to facilitate the delegate’s travel and visa arrangements. The invitation does not imply provision of financial or other support

The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is 20 km from the Kenyatta National Hospital Campus and the Panafric Hotel, http://www.sarovahotels.com/ and taxis are available on a 24-hour basis. Details on other affordable hotels are available from the congress secretariat.

Liability

The Organizing Committee will not be liable for personal accidents, loss or damage to private properties of the delegates during the Conference. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
